Sarfaraz Ahmed likely to play in South Africa ODI deal

Pakistan’s former cricket commander Sarfaraz Ahmed will likely play in the three one-day global agreement (ODI) against South Africa from April 2, Geo News announced.

Sources aware of the matter said the 33-year-old will likely keep the grounds while his rival Mohammad Rizwan will play as a hitter.They added that the group the board is thinking about having Rizwan hit at No. 4 and Sarfraz at No. 5.

Regarding the consideration of the batter-wicket manager in the ODI, the head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and the head of the public group Babar Azam have also been advised.

Meanwhile, center request hitters Haider Ali or Asif Ali will likely be eliminated from the group should Sarfaraz play, the sources added.

Pakistan will play South Africa for three ODIs on April 2, April 4 and April 7 and four T20Is from April 10 to April 16.
